Is your toddler a klutz?

My poor daughter's legs are bruised or scraped from mid thigh to ankle most of the time. She just doesn't pay attention to where she's going and wipes out all the time.

Is this common, or does my poor daughter just take after me?

DD's legs look awful! They are banged up and her knees are always scabby.

My 3y/o is fine.

It's the 14m/o walker/stumbler bulldozer of a child who is always a mess.  He needs a padded bubble.

Yep....DS has bruises from knees to ankles.  He also has them on his arms.  He trips all the time.  He had a scratch on his eyelid and when I asked him who scratched him he said he "I fell down!".  Figures!

My DD will be 3 on the 16th and always has brusies everywhere.  She is a klutz or just always on the go so fast and not paying attention.  Her teachers at preschool laugh about it as she is always falling or bumping into things.  She has perfect vision so its not that she can't see!  I really think its a combination of still working on coordination and moving so fast - their little minds work faster than their bodies at this age.
