We'll see if it is accurate. ?I am 8 dpo. ?My acupuncturist doing her typical tongue diagnosis thinks that I might be pregnant. ?

How crazy is that. ?She now has me on some herbs to prevent miscarriage. ?We'll see if she is right on Monday. ?

I am not sure how to feel about her diagnosis. ?At this point even a positive pregnancy test means so little to me, I don't think I will fully buy in until I hear a heartbeat.

My acupuncturist said last cycle that I might be KU based on my heartbeat, but I wasn't.  But I did discover that the ancient Chinese did diagnose pregnancies based on heart beats...

I don't know if all acupuncturists do this, but when you go in for each treatment they check your tongue and pulse.  IT is within that time that she was probably "diagnosed"

I do it to lengthen my LP b/c it is too short but if you want to learn more about acupuncture and infertility just google it.  There is a lot of research out there that supports doing it to help with infertility issues.

You bite the leaf and it will give your tongue a certain color too maybe... pink for girl and blue tongue for boys  heeheee

Sadly, I don't really know how it works so I can't explain much, but acupunturists generally ask to see your tongue at each session and use it as a diagnostic tool.

I started going to her after the second miscarriage at the suggestion of a friend. ?Like was said above, there is tons of info online about it. ?I am mostly doing it to feel like I am doing something, you know.
