Quote/saying help for diversity project.

Alright, I know some of you are wordsmiths, so help me out please! We are doing a diversity project at work and each person has their own square, which we will then make into a sort of quilt. Does anyone know of a quote involving quilting and how the differences in the pieces make the whole? I'm horrible at this kind of stuff. Thanks!
