We are having crazy thunderstorms... in fact 2 ladies in So. Cal were killed yesterday due to lightning.... scary!

A little cloudy here. I would LOVE a thunderstorm tonight. I love watching them (safely indoors of course). It's kinda been a thing my Dad and I used to do when I was little that just kinda stuck.

I heard about that! DH called me from work this morning to ask if I'd heard about it yet. He even mentioned a kid that got knocked off his bike from a lightning strike! Luckily, he lived... though I'm wondering what his parents were thinking.

Ahh yes. I agree. Thunderstorms are awesome. I've always been fascinated with weather... I wanted to experience the eye of a hurricane in my lifetime. I got what I wished for when Katrina came, so I have a healthy respect now.

Besides... lightning is not conducive (sp?) to bumping.

Crazy huh!  On the news this morning they had some scientist that said there were more than 400 lightning strikes yesterday....I was stuck in my office so I didnt see anything.

Here in Montgomery, AL it is jsut raining so far...no thunderstorm yet, but I am sure it will brew up this afternoon....I want to live where you do stellar!

Biloxi is definitely a pretty city and a nice place to be. The beaches aren't the best, but the rest of it is perfect for us. But we just got the news that we might have to move to Hattiesburg. I have mixed feelings about that, because I like it here. We'll see what happens.

Have you been to this area before?

yes, to gamble...lol...all the time we go on weekend trips down there...
