DH gets a gold star

So last night I was putting up laundry and decided that I needed to purge my closet of the winter clothes. Of course I have no where to put them but in the closet that has ALL the baby stuff in it. So I sucked it up, opened baby hell and put my clothes in it.

When DH came up to check on me between his "quest" on WoW, we were laying on the bed and I told him it still makes me sad to open that closet. DH's reply "Well, when you are shopping this weekend I'll find a place to hide it all." Aww..How sweet is he?

*The reason for baby hell is that we got our BFP on 3-13-09 and my mom came in the next day and was in town for a week. I told her if my betas on Tuesday were good we could go shopping. My mom bought out babies r us. No lie. We have a stroller, diapers, a closet FULL of clothes, a bouncer, a travel swing, boppy......It will all be great one day but right now it's baby hell. A lot of it says "Babies 1st Christmas" since we were hitting up the clearance racks for winter clothes since that's what we were going to need.*

unfortunately, this is exactly what keeps me from buying things. and I am a sale-a-holic. . .  .by the time I get pg I will be paying millions of dollars for things I could have gotten so cheap. . .

Aw, I'm sorry you have to keep looking at all of that stuff! Its great DH will find a way to store it all away until you need it again (hopefully soon! and you'll be ahead of the game!).  I've hidden the bib DH's parents got us and DH's grandma's knit baby clothes too. Its just too much!

What a sweet hubby.  It does suck to have that reminder around.  But you WILL be needing it.  So hopefully DH doesn't hide it in too tough a spot.

We also had a baby hell. DH and I never bought a thing...superstitious maybe? Anyway, once we let the cat out of the bag at week 16 (Christmas morning) in came the gifts.They continued to come in the mail even after our loss at 20 weeks (people sent them before it happened and we got them afterwards)

Ours isn't as extensive as yours, but I understand just the same. 

I went to HomeGoods and purchased a nice storage box for the stuff..baby books, clothing, mobile etc. and that's where it remains until we can use it.

My DH hid all of my pg books and the little things that we had bought or were given to us... unfortunatly I am the one that cleans the house so I found everything under the bed in the guest room... but it was still very sweet of him to do.

Wow, you clean under the bed in your guest room?    I don't think I've touched anything under there since we moved into this house.  We do have a Roomba that cleans around the edges, but there is so much crap under the bed in the middle that it can't really get under for a good clean.
