GP Weight-Loss Daily Check In

 

Hello ladies, and welcome to the GP Weight Loss Check In! This group is for any GPers looking to lose a few?or more than a few!?pounds while TTC or before TTC. This daily check-in is a medium for us to share triumphs, setbacks, support, and advice with our fellow woman.

 

I will post a check-in in the mornings, then a link to it later in the day. I?m an early riser, so look for me usually before 8:00am Mountain time.

 

If you?re interested in joining our little support group, please post with your sn and whatever information you?d like to provide (real name, age, etc). It would be nice to know where you are starting and what your goal is.

    Morning! I think this weekend I am finally going to get back on the scale. I have affraid of it!

    If I could go back in time - I would tell myself to have fun & not rush it. Being an adult is not all it's cracked up to be!

  • Morning all! My little victory for the week: I gave up my morning bowl of cereal. I'm now back on the protein shakes in the AM, which seem to be helping a lot (23gm protein and 8gm fiber, can't beat it!). This was my biggest challenge, I love cereal!

    I would tell myself to enjoy childhood, and to do things that make ME happy, not necessarily my parents. Life's too short not to think about yourself at least once in a while.

  • Mine would be to tell myself that my metabolism won't stay that fast for ever, and it WILL eventually catch up with me! LOL

     

    i have been doing terribly this week, since i visited my parents over the weekend and we went out to eat big meals every day..... :-(

  • Well, Monday started off ok, went for a walk Tuesday, but yesterday was as bad as it can get - almost. Had McD's at lunch, then a pop tart, then dh wanted to go out to dinner and we had chineese. Yeah - not a good way to go. AF is on her way so I'm not sure how much I can control what I do w/ seveere cramps and strange cravings - but I hope to atleast make better choices.

    If I was 10 again, I would tell myself to learn how to please yourself and not always try to make others happy - be carefree and follow your gut!
