Seems big to me at this stage...especially since I've read that in the third trimester, twins gain 1/2-LB per week... I'm going to be a house by 38 weeks!
I am not sure if that is the "norm" or not, but if your calculation about the 1/2 pound per week is correct it would be on par with my twins. I delivered them at 35 weeks due to pre-e and they were 6lb 9oz and 6lb 5oz.
Personally I think it is great - nice, big healthy babies! Congrats!!!
Mine seem like they'll be close to that by then. ?My last appointment, they were 2lbs. 3oz. and 2lbs. 5oz. at 26 weeks. ?My OB seemed pleased with those measurements!
That's what mine were measuring at 29 weeks - 3.2 and 3.3. I hadn't heard they gain 1/2 lb per week. If so, that makes me happy because I can't wait until they are both over 5 lbs.
Re: I'm 29 weeks - two 3-LB babies on track?
