My DH's SA came back with good count and morph, but his motility was only 5%. The urologist did some b/w and found his body wasn't producing enough testosterone and put him on clomid. In six weeks his motility has gone up to 30%.

PS~DHs IU said that he's seen couples get pg w/0% normal morph. He believes it's the least important factor.
He didnt say anything about forward progression....as far as motility he just said ideally we like to see 150, and he is at 71. He said it's not terrible, but not great...thanks for the link, I am going to read that now!

You're welcome, and try not to get discouraged. I know I'm up and down about it. But, guys are so sesitive (reproductively, hahaha)...I bet there's something you guys can do to see improvement. Does he have a f/u scheduled w/a specialist?

30% on the Kreuger scale!?!
I'm talking about motility not morph. They said it should be about 50-60%. So although its not in the normal range, its still a vast improvement from where we were.

Oooooh. Ok. :::makes note to improve reading skills::: That's a GREAT improvement! And it's only been six weeks. I bet it will be even higher in another 6wks. GL!

He goes back to the urologist on 6/9 to review results and bw. My fingers are crossed that after the full 3 month treatment the uro recommended he will be in the normal range and we can get KU on our own!

He has to make an appt with a specialist, we just found about an hour ago...so I will call and make an appt for him. I am trying not to get discouraged, I just feel like this whole TTC journey has been a roller coaster of emotions and disappointments...ugh. GL to you as well, I know you're dealing with this too....

Finger crossed for you. Now, w/the clomid...he only takes that for the 3 months?

I think you will feel much better after he sees the specialist. I know waiting the two weeks for the apointment had me on edge. But, in the end it worked out, ok. All apart of the process. I totally can sympathize.
My DH's first SA was good everything except only 2% on morph (Kruger). We just got results from his 2nd SA and his morph improved to 10%. Since his counts are high, my doctor feels that is much closer to normal range. He didn't do anything (that we know of) to specifically improve results, so it sounds like some docs feel like these numbers can improve. Try not to get too discouraged - my doc said that she has patients whose husb had 0 cound and 0 morph, and they are pg. GL.

I don't know if its only for 3 months, but he is re-evaluating after 3 months. We will see!
Re: SA results in....ugh.
DHs morph was 4%. I posted Monday about what the Infertility Urologist said:
https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/16683651.aspx
Also, DHs Motility was done in %, so it was out of 100. Hmmmm. Also, what was the forward progression on the 1-4 scale?
If the motility was 71% that's GOOD, as long as there was forward progression.
Maybe this will help too:
