Headed to Tacoma General...

I took Norah in for a well baby check up this morning and she did great...didnt cry during her shots and is topping the scale at 21 lbs 10oz Dr said all was fine and dandy with her so that was great to hear

but...

I noticed what looked to be a bruise on Jacobs right testicle a couple of nights ago and thats what prompted me to make an appt for both kids. The Dr checked it out and it seemed to get darker the more she moved it around...she seemed a little puzzled and then ordered an ultrasound at Tacoma General for tomorrow at noon. Even though she just thinks its a bruise, she wants to rule out anything serious and make sure he is still receiving adequate circulation down there. DH is going to take an extended lunch and my mom is going to watch Norah but I know its going to be quite the ordeal b/c Jacob didnt handle her touching his balls too well this morning...I have a feeling we're going to have to hold him down..ugh! I stocked up on some candy and we're going to take him on a special lunch after but if you could just think of us tomorrow and send us good vibes
I want to be a grandma someday and Im hoping his balls are permanatley damaged...

Insist on that ultrasound and wait to get the results.  Don't be afraid to get a second opinion right away. If its torsion (twisted inside), it needs to be taken care of right away.  Good luck - sending you prayers. My husband, who is a pediatrician, had a little boy come in with this last year.  More reading below.

WIll he be at Mary Bridge?  If so, they'll probably do well for him, as they are only pediatrics I'm sure TG will do well, too, medically, just not as a part of "kid world").  Good wishes your way!
