Anyone ever been to the Tapps Island Yard Sale at Lake Tapps?

i heard you have to be there at dawn (5am or earlier!) and pay $5 per carload!!! i wonder if it's worth it!?! they are million dollar houses...anyone ever gone???

We go every single year because my ILs live on on Lake Tapps.

It is awesome!  However, they don't let people on the island until 8 am, so being there at 5 might be stretching it.  I would be there at 7.  You pay $5 per carload to get on the island/parking.

Some years have been better than other years, but all in all, I'm looking forward to it.

i looked online for it. the flyer says it opens at dawn so that's why i was thinking 5am. but if it doesn't open til 8, i will definitely wait! thanks for the advice!

Dh and I go every year too! Like IG said, some years are better than others. You've gotta think that the same houses doing it every year...they've gotta run out of the "good" garage sale stuff...but it makes for a fun day! Wear comfortable shoes too!

One of my teaching partners goes every year.  She buys a ton of clothes for her 7 year old son.  I'll be going this year!
