I think DD put away her own clothes last night,

after bedtime! DD woke in the middle of the night, and when I went into her room she said she was hot. I pulled back the covers and noticed she was wearing her jacket. The jacket was sitting on the chair with some other laundry that needed to be put away.

This morning I went back into her room and found the laundry not on the chair. Her shirts were on hangers hanging from the back of the chair, I figure she put everything else in drawers.

It could be worse, she could be taking it all out, but it freaks me out to know my 2 1/2 year old is doing this!

I think that is great!!!  Maybe she will start doing the floors while you sleep, like a little cleaning fairy.

Oh what a good girl!! Isn't it amazing when they start doing that. My DD is 5 and she dresses herself, and hangs up all her dresses and jackets. Plus she gets her own pjs and dries herself off from the bath. My 10 yr old DS cleans bathrooms and unloads the dishes with my 8 yr old DS. It's amazing how fast they grow and want to be so independent. =]

I also love that she woke up because she was hot and had her jacket on. She must have been cold earlier in the night to have put it on.  It's pretty cute that she put her clothes away in the night.
