So I have a Moby Wrap that I've used with DS just a few times. I'll be flying with him to Michigan in a couple weeks and I expect I'll be using it quite a bit in the airport, while we're out and about with family, etc. I always feel like it pulls my shirt up where it's wrapped around my stomach. Is this normal, or is there a secret I'm missing? Any hints from experienced users are most welcome! Thank you!
Re: Moby Wrap users
You shouldn't have to keep tying/untying it in the airport... and the wrap should cover your whole stomach anyway.
But, when I did it, I woudl start with the tag on my belly button, and the rest of it hanging down like an apron. So that part that goes around your waist would be lower, but not all the way at your hips.
If you think your'e tying it low and it's just working it's way up and shoving your shirt too, try tying it more around your waist and before you put the kid in, tug your shirt down in the front so it won't get pulled so much?
One key to the Moby is to wrap it tighter than you'd think.
Here's a good instruction video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O78_qhy2eQ0
I just pulled my shirt down and lifted the tied part of the moby wrap above my hips and it stopped the problem.
