Water should do. ?If you want to get fancy, there used to be this stuff called "Fit" that was made specifically for washing produce. ?Does it exist anymore? ?I dunno ?I've heard even of people using a solution of mostly water and a teensy bit of bleach. ?Personally, if I don't eat the rind (orange, watermelon, etc.) I don't bother washing at all. ?But I'm nasty.

Not sure what direction we are headed. Either way, I am up for the ride.
They still sell Fit here! We use it for tomatoes, peppers or anything else where we eat the entire fruit/veggie. If it is an orange or watermelon, we don't bother washing it. We're diiiiiiiiiiiiirty. RAWR.
I buy fruit and veggie wash from Trader Joe's. I mostly just wash tomatoes, apples, etc with it. Stuff where I can definitely see a waxy film. I don't usually wash anything with a rind I wouldn't eat.
Re: How to you clean your produce?
I was scared to admit this.
