Post IVF/C/P AF Question, Maybe TMI

I feel like something isn't right. After IVF #1, I had horrible cramps with heavy bleeding and gross clots. This time, it's much lighter. I've had horrible, horrible cramping (worse than IVF1), but not much heavy bleeding. I've actually had much heavier flow with regular AF than what I'm having now. I had no spotting at all until Friday and I know my lining was pretty thick. What is going on?

I don't know. . . our bodies sometimes work in crazy ways.  It might still get heavier. . . both of my c/ps were just about unbearable- so much pain and VERY heavy.  But my 5w5d m/c was oddly lighter than the c/p's.  Not sure why!

I'm so sorry your body is acting crazy. With both of my m/c it took my body a good 2 to 3 periods to be normal again.

However, I haven't been regular since our last cycle in February. It sucks and I'm so sorry.

I am only a lurker here, but I had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago and AF was much lighter than normal.  I had bad cramps, but very light flow.  When I googled, I read they have found that women often have lighter than normal periods after a chemical pg.  (Mine wasn't after IVF, and I don't know if that would make a difference).
