    Hi & Welcome...

I'm not on here much but it took us 2 months after stopping birth control for me to get my BFP. ?I had an idea of when I would be ovulating but we just did things naturally and got lucky :). ?We we're married in December and this will be our first. ?Best of luck to you!

I got married last June at age 38 and stopped taking BCP around the 4th of July?conceived in November.  That was my 5th cycle off the pill.

I was convinced it would take me longer or that I'd have problems, based on age alone. But I did not.  Unfortunately a lot of women do, but I am proof that it can happen naturally in less than 6 months.

Have had 2 successful pregnancies before. Had DD (11) at age 28. Had DS (4) at age 35. July 2007 starting trying for #3. We had 2 miscarriages within 6 months. After the 2nd miscarriage I mentally couldn't think about trying again.

Sept 2008 (when I turned 39) we changed our minds. Due to my erratic cycle, we used Clear Blue Easy Ovulation kit and conceived in Feb - this time with TWO! I will be 40 at delivery. We feel incredibly blessed. At the same time DH and I can't exhale.

It took us 14 cycles and I am 37. We did the the fertility testing at 12 months and everything came back normal. We used the CBEFM (Clear blue easy fertility monitor) to pinpoint ovulation timing.

    Hi there!

Well I wasn't as lucky as some of these ladies, but I am pg now and thats what matters. We started trying along time ago and as you can see from my siggy I did try to have help but in the end the CBEFM (Clear blue easy fertility monitor) was the key. Go figure. These things are expensive, like $250 for the monitor and $45 for the sticks, but let me tell you it is so worth it!!! My advice would be get one off Craigslist (I paid $30). Everyone I know swears by it and I should have tried it sooner!

    GL!

It took us four months to get pregnant (ended in a chemical) and then another six months to get pregnant with this one.  We used opk's for about eight months to pinpoint ovulation.  I had just made an appointment to see an RE and found out the next day that we were pregnant.

Married for 6-1/2 years. Stopped birth control right after honeymoon. Figured if it happened it happened. But it didn't happen. I started charting about 4-5 years ago. Did the OPK. Did the clomid. Did 4 IUI's. Did 2 IVF's & was successful on the 2nd attempt. Finally I am here. Yay!!

We got pg naturally but it took 11 cycles of really trying, charting my temperatures, using OPKs, eating healthy, etc. Finally I bought a fertility monitor and it worked the first month! So I don't know if it was beginner's luck with the monitor or it's just more accurate than OPKs. I was also using natural progesterone cream after ovulation for a few cycles and kept on using it when I got pg up til about 24 weeks.

Are you pregnant? What's your story?

Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

NEWMRS 07we having been married 2 yrs and I went off pill immediately..we werent trying but we werent not...nothing had happened though... so this past Jan we decided to seriously start trying.  Since nothing had happ over 2 yrs, the OBGYN did some tests..everything seems fine for both of us and diagnosis is unexplained...  even more frustrating...

FSH is an 8 and they said not too bad but shoudl usually be lower? Also I will be 35 in a couple of months and DR says age could be a factor.

Trying clomid with ovidrel...last month they will allow and then I get sent to a specialist.  Hoping to be preg this time! Just had IUI Fri.

So glad I found this board!

We got pregnant our 4th months of trying. It was the first month I was using the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor to accurately determine when we should try. I tried charting the months before but that didn't work for me. I am 38 (was 37 when I got pregnant). Good luck!

Hi and welcome!  There is no real story for us this time.  I stopped BFing in April and came off the mini pill.  We were not trying to get pregnant but this baby wanted to come!  :)
