Is anyone else suffering this week?

I'm DYING.  Before I've only ever been sniffly but for the last week I've felt like I had the flu:  sore throat, cough, giant lymph nodes, headache, stuffy nose and ears.  No fever though.  We visited the in-laws in Oregon for about 48 hours and I felt great and now we're back and I'm miserable again.

I don't know what I'm going to do.  Claritin and nasal rinsing are soo not cutting it.  Suggestions?

Also, Connor has had wierd eye boogers with coughing and sneezing this week although the Pedi said there was no sign of an infection. I wonder if he has allergies too?

I hate Oregon right now! It's so freaking warm in my apartment and I can't open the windows because the second I do, my eyes start burning! (I'm in Eugene) DH and I are both suffering bigtime, so I'm sure it had something to do with your trip to Oregon. As for Connor, I'm not sure. It could be allergies. I feel bad for him if it is, poor guy will have no relief! :-(

If someone has a good suggestion, I'll try it. I've had someone tell me to take Tylenol with my Claritin, didn't do much. I've used my netty pot, not much help. I've done a Claritin in the AM when I wake up and one right before bed... Please let me know if you find relief somewhere! Good luck to you! I just had to tell you that I know how you feel!

OMG, I have been awful also.  It just started on Wednesday; sore throat, itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose.  We are in Portland right now and it's just as bad for me.  Dh and Mason have been better, but my nose is going non-stop.

DH swears by Zyrtec but we buy the generic Alertec at Costco. He says it's the only thing that helps him and it's only one dose a day and he has horrible allergies. I always just used Benedryl off and on when mine acted up.

I have been having really bad headaches and a sore throat.

Max has been sneezing like crazy and has had really goopy eyes too! Tis the season.

Every remedy I've ever tried has already been mentioned here.  No advice, just came to say I feel for ya.  I too get really bad allergies. I would be dying right along with you right now, but I'm apparently one of the 1/3 of people who lose all their allergies during pregnancy (hallelujah).

Out of curiosity, did you lose your allergies during pregnancy and now they are back?  Just wondering if my current state is too good to be true.

I am right there with you! ?This week has been the worst in memory. ?I could hardly enjoy our hike today because I was having so much trouble breathing . ?I've been taking claritin, but that doesn't offer much relief...
