GD Mamas: If you are on insulin, do you still do the GD diet?

Just curious.  I was able to control my GD in my 1st PG with diet alone.  I have a feeling I'm not going to be so lucky this time around as my numbers (in only the 2 days since  started doing them) have been all over the place.

Just curious if you have to do injections and the diet as well?

Yep, insulin alone can only do so much. You have to eat well too.

    T1 but in short, yes.

Insulin is extremely effective at turning food into energy/fat. To avoid the weight gain - that may pick up pace when you turning all your food into fuel rather than just part of it - staying on the diet helps.
