A wrestling phase?

So Cruz as I said had gotten in trouble at day care for wrestling and then today at school he just kept wanting to tackle all the kids.  The problem is once they are down he won't let them up!  Ugh so embarassing!   I tell him that we don't wrestle with our friends and that he has to be gentle but I feel like I might as well be talking to a wall! Phew I'm exhausted from Cruz's school!

I would always tell ds that "Mommies are for snuggles and Daddies are for wrestles". Maybe you can practice something similar with Cruz - like "Friends are for ..."

I was gonna ask the same question, if he wrestles with DH? Maybe have DH, if he does, talk to him about when wrestling is ok, since I assume that you aren't the one who wrestles with him. It might help hearing from the wrestling source.

DH wrestles with the boys all the time, and mine are 10 and 8. It's crazy how much they like to wrestle, but they don't anymore at school. So you have that to look forward to. He will get it soon but want to wrestle with daddy more lol.

Well he likes to jump on dh when he is on the floor but he doesn't come up to us and try to take us down like he does these kids.  But I wouldn't say that this is an activity that they do alot.  Cruz just wants to be so rough and tough lately!
