How is everyone doing? 

DH and I are going to start TTC in October, once he's back from his trip to Europe, so I figured this is a good place to come and ask questions.

Shout out to IG, who got me back here.  ~

Because I'm a crazy person, in preparation of TTC, I will be quitting smoking and going back on WW.  On the same day.  Which is tomorrow.  Pray for DH.  He's gonna need it.  ~

Welcome back!  I do WW and absolutely love it.  I know there are other girls on this board that do as well.  I am working on losing weight for when we start TTC in January.

Seriously.  I'm thanking the heavens for the nicotine lozenges, which will help a lot.  DH is already aware and is making himself scarce tomorrow.  It's probably for the best.  Just leave me alone with my lozenges, the cats and the House marathon on USA and I'm good to go.

Thanks! I've done WW off and on for the last 5 years.  The counting points starts to grate after awhile, but it really works.  I just need to get my head back in the game.

Oh my dear Lord in heaven.  How the HECK have you been!?!?!?  I feel like there needs to be some sort of knot reunion or something!!  Welcome to the world of TTC.  I have good faith in you that you will totally LAUGH in the face of all your goals :-)  Will power is an amazing thing.  I will however, pray for your hubby. lol

Speaking of oldies but goodies, anybody heard from VallartaTiffany?  I'm planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta and TOTALLY thought about her the other day.

I think this is my 10th attempt at quitting, but now I have an actual deadline, instead of some abstract "You will be healthier" thing. 

I haven't heard from VT in a long time.  It seems like a lot of the old skool Knotties/Nesties are in the wind.

I've been well!! I totally always think of you when I'm in conversations with people about forgoing the traditional white wedding dress.  I always tell them, "Well I 'know' somebody whose wedding dress was GUNMETAL gray, so there!!!"

I totally feel ya on how giving yourself abstract deadlines produces little by way of achieving goals. Story of my life. Procrastinators unite!...Tomorrow.
