BRU return question

Hi Ladies,

So if you get a gift that isn't on your registry for your shower, no gift receipt, should you put it on your registry after the fact and mark it as purchased?  Will Babies R Us take it back?  What if you mark two as being purchased?  Has anyone had any experience with this?  TIA.

I had this and BRU took it back no problem (got a store credit).  I actually brought in a bunch of stuff and didn't even know if it was all from the store and they were nice enough to scan it all so I could see what was from there!  I'm sure different stores have different rules...
