Let's talk Cribs!!

I've been browsing and I don't see where anyone, here, or on other boards like the Nursery Decor, got their crib from BRU.

 We're kinda sucked into getting one from there because we have a $220 voucher from having purchased a recalled crib, and a 15% coupon on top of that. I don't see where it makes sense money-wise to discard both of those things and go elsewhere.

 The Babi Italia Eastside is one that we love and is right up our style alley. It matches the rest of the furntiture in our house: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3350156

 But there's also this one, which looks like the MackDaddy of BRU cribs, which I love too. The thing about this one is that all the matching pieces are $$$. https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3350163

 Going in a completely different direction, this one is "thinking outside the box" for me and I find it to be very girlie and feminine. I love the matching pieces with this one but all the reviews for the dressers are terrible. https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3350157

 All that said, these are all highly rated in Baby Bargains.

 So, what would/did you decide? And how did you decide? Did you get the matching pieces or no?

My friends have the baby Italia crib.  It looks nice and is sturdy.

Of the ones you linked, I really like the Basset crib.  The matching furniture is a bit pricey, but if you're going with white, would you consider less costly options for everything but the crib?  White would be easy to match (unlike wood stains), and you could probably find things that would look just as nice, but not break the bank.

I saw the baby italia at bru and it is beautiful. Very sturdy too. I loved it but think its more than I want to spend. We are getting the Da Vinci series.

Is the $220 only good on a crib? If not a good breast pump (if you are planning on BF) can cost close to that or even more. Target has really nice Graco cribs with matching furniture that won't break the bank (they are rated well by Baby Bargains too).  If you have to buy one there I agree with pp about the white. You can find nice affordable white furniture anywhere.

We bought a Baby Cache crib and dresser and I am really happy with the quality of them.  Yes, they are a bit on the pricey side, but you can use them until your child moves out.  I was able to use a 20% off coupon on the dresser--- in April, BRU, had 20% off a furniture purchase over $500.  Good luck with your choice!
