Startling awake from nap?

The last 3 or 4 days DS keeps waking from naps screaming, will either take a pacifier or nurse and then go right back to sleep. I can't figure out what the issue is. I thought maybe he was congested and having trouble breathing so I elevated his mattress. He sleeps fine all night (about 5 hours) and just wakes up fussing, not screaming. Anyone else have experience with this or care to offer any suggestions?? I need nap time!!!

The only time Jeremiah does this is when he has an ear infection. ?Sorry I don't have any advice for you!
