I'm miserable

My stitches are itchy, it hurts to sit down and my nipples are on fire from nursing DS every 2 hours around the clock.

He's 3 weeks old.

When will it get better?

    Everything seemed 100% better for me at 6 wks, my stitches were healed, BF was easier and I was getting some sleep. You are half way there my dear!

    you are getting there! 6 weeks was a huge turning point! 12 weeks was even better. Hang in there!

    Hang in there!!!  He's going through a growth spurt and the feedings will ease slightly in a day or two.  For now, use lanolin cream on your nipples and soothies gel pads also.  Just know in a few months (seems like a few weeks when you look back) he'll be crawling all over and you'll cherish the times he actually settles to eat and snuggle.Remember, this is just a short time in this chapter of your life and cherish it while you can---it will get better!!!!
