Baby shower ideas

I have decided to throw a friend a baby shower. It probably won't be til August but I feel I can't start planning too early. It is going to be airplane themed. That is what his room is going to be. But I would love any ideas/games/food you liked or didn't like at ones you have attended. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! Oh and I am pretty sure it will be a couples party if that makes any difference.

At mine they played a game where everyone got to pull off a length of ribbon they thought would fit around me. Then everyone came up to see if theirs fit. It was pretty funny to see who greatly over- and underestimated! Some people might not like this game if they are not comfortable with their new size though.
