Got a "surprise" internal

A new nurse had me undress and so when the MW got there she said, "Well, we might as well check you!" And it turns out I'm 2cm, Station 0, she could feel the baby's head, and 50% effaced. 

Might mean nothing, but it is nice to know that there's progress.  I didn't excpet an internal until 40 weeks.

 Was it uncomfortable? Im getting my first internal tomorrow
