Ergo users come in ...

If you have an Ergo and are also short , I am 5'2'' does your baby sit a bit lower on your back ? I want her up a bit higher but I am not sure if it is a combination of both of us being small, she is about 12lbs at 5 months right now and 23 inches. Any suggestions?

    We have only carried DS in the front and he is just about 6 mo. and about 19lbs

    I think it's more her size than yours.  You being small should actually get her higher on your body--a longer torso would put her lower, if that makes any sense. 
    Do you know if she's big enough to be riding in it?  I don't know the size restrictions but that could be the issue...

    I am 5'2 also and  haven't had any problems carrying DS on my back. I started carrying him back there when he was 5 months old.  Here's how he ended up being positioned:

     He was about the same size as your DD.  I just fastened the waist band around my waist instead of my hips.

    Good Idea about the waist instead of the hips, he looks good in there. DD's head was so low she could not see. I will try this !
