39 weeks & baby hasn't dropped!

So I had a Dr's appt last night & found out that I am 2cm's dilated, about 50% effaced and the baby has NOT dropped!  This is my first so i'm worried.  I thought first-timers dropped weeks before??  Does this mean I'm going to be late or that I'll need a c-section?  Anyone else experience this?  I'd love to hear from some second/third timers who went through this.

    DD never dropped. ?I did end up being late & was induced but I did not have to have a c section, once contractions started she worked her way down. ?Good luck!

    Good to know!!  One nice thing about it is that I don't have the wobble!  LOL.

    My LO hasn't dropped yet. I can make you feel better though that you are dilated. I'm not!
