Sleeping with a blanket....

I was always told not to let DD sleep with a blanket b/c she can suffocate herself. So when is it ok? DD LOVES her recieving blankets. She loves to chew on them and then kind cuddles up with them when I rock her. I take them away when I put her down in her crib. But when is it ok for her to start sleeping with blankets.

    DS sleeps with a lovey blanket. I used to take it away, but I don't anymore. He's very conscious of stuff around his face, but even if you duct-taped this thing to your head you could breathe through it.?

    DS has slept with a blanket since day one.  Not once has he ever put it on or near his face.

    Umm... here's why I'm a bad mom.. C has always slept with a little blanket.. she inevitably kicks it off of her.. but she loves to cuddle up with one when we rock and then I put her down with it..

    she also sleeps on top of a blanket!  I am BAD!
