    when do you give snacks?

Have been attempting to give them before am and pm naps.

how many times a day (1 or 2 or more)

Trying for 2 times, but usually only succeed for one or the other.

    in highchair?

No :(  I already feel like I'm constantly cleaning up from the three main meals each day...if I can keep the high chair clean between meals, I prefer to.

what do you give for snack?

Because we don't do snacks in a highchair they are almost always puffs or something I can put in his snack trap.  As a result, I'm really needing some new healthy snack ideas, but I really don't want to have to start putting him in the highchair for things like fruit and such.

  • At daycare he gets one snack in the afternoon ranging from goldfish to teddy grahms to cookies to mandarin oranges. It usually isn't very healthy Tongue Tied
  • when do you give snacks?  usually mid morning and mid afternoon

how many times a day (1 or 2 or more) 2

in highchair? no unless it's something really messy

what do you give for snack? teddy grahams, goldfish, fruit, yougurt, dried fruit is a big one, cheerios, cheese stick, a piece of turkey.

  • She has an afternoon snack after her nap, usually some cut up fruit and baby goldfish or cheerios, and some milk or water. In the highchair, we're not ready to have roving snacktime yet. She also winds up snacking while I fix dinner.

  • He sort of snacks throughout the day - he usually eats a big breakfast, and then snacks mid-morning, and then will have another snack when DH gets home from work, but before we have dinner.

I've stopped letting him have anything besides cheerios and bites of banana if he's not in his highchair, too messy. We have a plastic mug we put his cheerios in, and he does a pretty good job of keeping in on a short stool in the kitchen.

He usually snacks on cheerios, crackers, bananas (and other fruit if he's sitting in our laps or in the highchair), cheese.

    DS2 - Oct 2010 (my VBAC baby!)

  • before morning nap and before afternoon nap (we were doing 2nd snack after afternoon nap but then she wasn't hungry enough for dinner).

    2 per day.

I put her in her highchair if messy - I LOVE LOVE LOVE her snack trap!!!

cheerios, cheese, graham crackers plain or with cream cheese or peanut butter, cut up fruit, dried fruit, goldfish occasionally, yogurt melts, yogurt

  • when do you give snacks? 10am and 3pm (between breakfast and lunch, and then after she wakes from her nap.)

how many times a day (1 or 2 or more) 2...see above.

in highchair? no, but she likes to sit at her little table sometimes. Otherwise she just walks or stand and eats.

what do you give for snack? cut up fruit and goldfish, graham crackers and milk, freeze-dried fruit and yogurt, crackers and string cheese
  • just marking so I don't have to ask later about snack ideas.
  • when do you give snacks?  yes

how many times a day (1 or 2 or more) usually 3, but sometimes 4

in highchair? yes, I always do if we are home.  I know that at the babysitters she will follow her around and feed her.

what do you give for snack?  Goldfish, Gerber veggie crackers, cheese, yogurt, fruit, Gerber cheese or veggie puff things (the cheese puff looking things, not the little puffs), cheerios.  We really need some new ideas, I think she is sick of goldfish.

  • I forgot to say when we give snacks.  Once in the morning, once, sometimes twice in the afternoon prior to dinner, and then once before her bath.
