How often does your 5mo nap?

DD naps ALL THE TIME!!! She STTN, but then wakes up, eats, and sleeps for another hour or two, Then she will play for like an hour or two eat and then take another nap for like 45 min. then eats plays and sleeps. I think she takes at least 4 naps a day. I just feel like she is napping so much. Just trying to see how much other peoples LO's nap for

DS has never been a good napper.

He's now up to two naps in the afternoon, usually about 45 min. each.

My DD is now 5.5 months old and she has 2 solid naps a day - one in the morning, abut 2 hours after she first wakes up and another one in the afternoon, around 4pm.  These naps are about 1.5 to 2 hours long.  I find that on most days she can get through without another nap in the middle of the day, but there are still days when she needs that 3rd nap.

I would love that nap schedule!!!! When I was home with him he would be up for about two hours then nap in the morning for an hour or two, then be up about two hours and nap again. After that he was up until bed time.

We started daycare this week so all of that is right out the window.

My baby naps like yours.  She is usually only awake for 1-2 hours at a time between naps.  Sometimes she is only awake for 40 minutes between naps.  She takes 3-4 naps a day.  As soon as she starts acting sleepy, I just put her down in her crib.  She doesn't like to be rocked...weird.

DS is STTN too and usually naps 3-4 times a day.  His morning naps are usually 1 hr. and then he has a longer one (2 hrs.) in the afternoon.

4 naps a day...ranging from 40min to an hour at a time.  Once in a while he'll throw in a longer one but it is rare.  He goes to day care 2 days a week and usually naps for about 2 hrs at a time there.  Don't have any idea why, we do the exact same thing day care does.  He is usually only awake from90 min between naps, we can stretch it to 2 hours.   I'm glad my lo is not the only one still napping like this.  I would love 2-2 hour naps a day, and one shorter one.  Oh well!

 I can't get Jack to nap more than 45 - 60 mintues - EVER.
