Diflucan - question

I had thrush a couple of weeks back and it seemed to get better but now it is coming back. Have any of you taken the diflucan and what was your experience? I am hesitant to take it because I have heard it can make both baby and I sick. Any good experiences and how quickly did it help? tia

    My DD had thrush and took Nystatin for 3 weeks and it never went away.  We finally started using 1% genetin violet and it cleared up very quickly.  It does stain anything it touches, so I guess I would hesitate if I had to use it on my chest.

    I've taken it and didn't have any issues...I think I took 2 rounds just to be sure it was gone. I think it's a 10 day course? I forget.
