My symptoms COMPLETELY disappeared yesterday so I was prepared for the wost at my u/s. My prayers worked though! We saw the little one iwht a great heart rate of 158! Yay!
My dr said not to worry about it but I am a little since I only gained 5 days since last week -she said the margin of error could be +/-7 days but still...I suppose the heart rate should calm me. It increased from 134 last week so right on track! Anyone else loose some days here and there in the beginning?
Re: Question about early measurements
First off how many weeks are you? U/S can be off with dating esp the further along you get. Also if you doc put your edd by LMP then yes the u/s can also be off days.
I didn't gain but 1lb in my whole 1st trimester and after 9wks I didn't have any symptoms. My boobs didn't hurt, bloat went away. It's totally normal.
I'm 7 weeks and 3 days according to my O date and the u/s showed 7 weeks. It showed 6 weeks and 2 days last Thursday so the net increase was 5 days. She wasn't concerned but given this is my 4th pregnancy in 18 months, I'm concerned about everything.

I measured 4 days behind my O date last week and was freaked out, but they told me not to worry, that it was within the margin of error and that everything, including the h/b, looked terrific. I have worried about it since then, but what I've read online suggests it's pretty normal to measure a few days ahead or behind, because when they are so small, even a couple of mm can make a day or two of difference (even though it's supposed to be very accurate).
I know friends on fully medicated iui cycles (know O and everything down to the wire) who measured behind, so there you go.
Additionally, I've had several friends in the same boat at pp - measured behind at one and ahead of the original date at the next.
Hard not to worry though, right?
