How long did you wait for pp sex?

We finally got it on Tuesday night, 10w2d pp. I was scared of the pain before that, and paired with the exhaustion, I just never wanted to! I had a second degree tear with stitches, and it hurt a little at first, but wasn't too bad. First time I've felt semi-skinny in a long time!! So much better without that big ole belly!

I felt like a loser waiting that long...anyone else?

I wish I had.... we waited 6 1/2 weeks and it was so excruciating we had to stop.

5 weeks...first time wasn't bad...2nd time burned! haven't tried since...sorry DH i don't need it that much

7 or 8 weeks I think and it hurt like a biitch and I bled ?

Well, in two days I'll be at 10w2d, but my MIL is coming to visit today for a week or so, so I'd say it'll be at least 11 weeks.

I waited til almost 9 weeks...it took my stitches a looong time to heal, and I just wasn't up to it until then. It hurt the first time, but it slowly got better.

I had a c-section so I figured I'd go for it as soon as the Dr gave me the go ahead at my 6 week appointment.  Well it was still really painful (still not sure why) and we did it again a week or so later and it still hurt.  We did it again last night and for the first time it wasn't painful, actually it was really good!

My sister had a vaginal birth and she made her husband wait almost 6 months!  (she was beyond petrified)

2 1/2 weeks, I couldnt wait any longer. It was not agonizing like I imagined, but that's just in my case

Although I attempted a vaginal delivery we (DS and I) didnt get far and ended up with a c/s. So I wasnt afraid of that sorta of pain, I was afraid of how his weight would be on my insicion. But we waited 3.5wks and it was fabulous...as always lol

We only waited 3 weeks.  I had a c-section though.  We are still limited in certain positions though due to my incision.

This time it will be mid July when we have sex for the first time.  He is in Iraq and will get 2 weeks of leave during that time.  I already have zero pain down there (no stitches or anything) so I am sure I will be more then ready for it then.  I haven't had anything since December 2nd or 3rd! 

With my first 2 I didn't wait the full 6 weeks.  It didn't hurt.  I didn't have stitches with either of them either.

My 6 week appt is tomorrow and after reading all of these posts I am scared to death to do it!  My recovery with this baby has been quite a bit worse than with my first, so I'm nervous...
