I have been showing movies since Tuesday... I actually finished up all my lessons so I thought I would be nice to the kids. They are silent so I love it. (I teach HS).
Graduation is next week, and now I'm just keeping them busy. hehe I teach high school math, so they are coloring tessellations and making other math related art work for my room. They're happy to be doing nothing, I'm happy to be teaching nothing. It's win win all around.
Just being the wife is killing me! He's so grumpy and complaining about the students and constant grading. If I were THERE I'd probably die lol...This is his 4th year teaching and so far it's the worst. I think it may be because I'm so far and miserable that I may be making his miserable, but I sure hope it's not like this for the next 20 years.
Our last day of school was Friday but the last few weeks were tough. I'm glad we got out when we did. With #1, I taught through my entire 3rd tri and really hated it. And I was on modified bedrest and could only work 4 hours a day... still hated it!
( I got laid off on Friday 10/31 and found out I was pregnant the next Tuesday, then had the worst MS of anyone I know.... kinda glad it happened then.)
I am excited to have this baby and get back into another position after a while (this kid couldn't have come at a more perfect time as far as the job market in CA)

I completely agree June 4th can't get here soon enough! Then again there is so much work I have to get done to close out. Not looking forward to that either
The last day for students isn't till June 19 and I don't know how I will make it that long! I teach a self-contained sp.ed class and although I love my students dearly and usually have infinite patience with their meltdowns, they are definitely starting to get to me! I wish I could just let them play on the computer all day....
