Hi all. ?I'm popping over from PAL with a quick question: ?Have you ever missed O while using OPKs? ?What about with a fertility monitor? ?Did you confirm it with temping?
DH and I are returning to NFP to TTA for a little while. ?Someone on a blog I visit mentioned using a fertility monitor for this purpose, especially in the crazy hormone filled post-partum days before the return of AF when charting can have some inaccuracies.
Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences and I look forward to seeing you all at PAL in a few months.?
Re: XP: ? for CBEFM & OPK users
Yes, I have not detected an lh surge on OPK's before. I also have detected false surges (where the test was bad - FR opk's suck - or I had lh in my system but didn't actually ovulate).
They can be tools, but you don't want to get overconfident or rely too much on them. The CBEFM is expensive and specifically states it is not be used as a contraceptive device.
