In Labor & Delivery!!

Hi everyone. They just started my pitocin for the induction about 10 minutes ago. We've been here for almost 3 hours, but there have been emergencies all morning, so we've kinda just been hanging out. Turns out that I am in labor on my own. Contractions coming 6 minutes apart and getting stronger as they go on. Measuring about 75-90 on the 100 scale of intensity!

The Dr. just checked me (before starting pitocin) and I am 4 cm and 90% effaced!! She told me she'd be back around noon. Started on a really low dose of pitocin, since I haven't even had an hour of the GBS antibiotics.

I'm kinda bored, looking forward to meeting my baby!!! I feel like this is too easy right now! I'm sure I'll change my mind soon.

Thanks everyone! Hubby and I are bored. There was one lady who came in screaming her head off. 5 minutes later we heard a baby cry. Apparently the baby was crowning in the elevator!

I almost feel guilty asking for an epidural when I feel fine at this point. A little uncomfortable, but nothing too bad. Contrx are about 5 min. apart now.

I'm so scared about crapping on the table!!
