FFers - What nipples did/do you use for a 2 week old?

We've been trying a bunch of different nipples but they all seem to pour out too fast.  DD really only seems to respond well (much less gas) with the Medela Special Needs nipple - we purchased it to try to help with nursing.  At $30 a pop, we really would rather find some alternatives.  Please recommend!

We use (and did when she was little too) Playtex Ventaire with slow flow nipples.

Oh, and if you get Playtex Ventaires, I would get the Crystal Clear kind b/c the with the regular ones the numbers rub off.
