I flooded my house.

I freaking cleaned out my front loading washer last night and I didn't put something back in right and so after I went to run the actual "clean cycle" today, we went out to run around.

it flooded my laundry room, hallway, entry way and the front open office.

thank god for concrete floors and a steam cleaner. I was able to suck up most of the water (took 20 trips to the bathroom to dump the water container) and the kids put towels on the smaller wet areas.

stupid.stupid. We actually went outside and were about to leave but I realized I forgot something inside. I can't imagine what 1 hour and 45 minutes of the "cleaning cycle" would have left in the house.

Oh man!  I am glad you got it taken care of though.  I would hate to imagine what kind of mess you would have come home to later.
