Let me just clarify..

In my post earlier about having sex..I was not by any means implying that I wanted to do it right now or anytime soon, I just wondered if the 6-8 weeks was standard for everyone, or if anyone's docs let them do it earlier. I plan on asking my dr today when I go. And I did have a CSection, I forgot to mention that. I just don't want you all thinking I'm some sort of crazy person!

    I had a vaginal birth and my OB said no hanky-panky or tampons for 6 weeks.  DH and I made it to just over 5 weeks...  At my 6 week appointment my OB asked me if we had started doing anything yet and I told him we had and when and he was fine with it, just asked me if everything felt normal to me and to make sure to use enough lubrication while I am breastfeeding (aside from the usual contraception questions).

    My doctor said 5 weeks... and I said "crap, are you sure not 6-8?"  lol
