This isn't a straight fruit salad recipe but it is SO good!

Watergate Salad

2 packet pistachio pudding mix

2 containers Cool Whip

1 can crushed pineapple, drained

1 small jar maraschino cherries

1 bag miniature marshmallows

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (if desired...I don't like them so I never use them)

Mix pudding mix with Cool Whip. Fold in remaining ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

chop up a bunch of fruit and throw it in a big bowl?? LOL that's what I would do.

Yes, but it starts with soaking watermelon in vodka overnight ( Not family friendly....

mmmm...this is my favorite one.  I had it at DS's birthday party, and it all got eaten.

1 can peach pie filling

1 can  pineapple tidbits

1 can mandarin oranges

2 frozen containers of strawberries (8 oz.)

4 bananas

 Mix everything but the bananas and put in fridge.  Right before serving, cut up your bananas and add to the mixture.

 SO EASY!!  & SO GOOD!!

thanks ladies for the idea they all sound so good! but since this is a work potluck i won't be able to do the vodka watermelon ;(
