Middle of the night side pain

I'm so tired of not sleeping I could cry! I sleep on my left (with the help of a bunch of pillows). When I do, I usually wake up with pain down my left side. Even when I've switched to my right, it hurts on my left. Anyone feel this way?

    Is it on your actual side or on the back of the left side of your body?  I had sciatica with my last baby and ouch did that hurt.  It was a sharp and deep pain that ran from my butt and down my leg about halfway.  It started around 25 weeks or so I think and came and went the rest of the pregnancy.   Tylenol and heat were the only things I could do.

    It seems like my side but I'll pay attention better next time. It's been going on since early April. I do better when I sleep on my back and I can't!
