But weather.com says it's only 72 outside! They have to be wrong, they just have to! We have our AC on 73 and it is still kicking on, I refuse to go any lower though because I'm scared to death of what the pg&e bill is gonna look like.
It is 80 degrees in the living room in our condo according to the thermostat (which we have set at 65, btw).
It gets so damn hot in here, I have windows open and it still isn't helping
STFU! I thought Alaska was cold all year long? Hmm maybe I'll rethink moving there.
It isn't the weather that makes our condo this hot! Although it did get close to 70 today...but no, when we have our TV on and the lights and the washer & dryer running and the windows closed our tiny little top floor condo gets HOT fast.
The average outside high in the summer is like 70, it is a very rare occasion we get close to 80 and last summer sucked..only 3 days above 70 the entire season.
DH and I are both hot weather people...we've decided we're going to need a year or two in Phoenix (he was born there...) to thaw out if we ever move out of AK
Today in MO, it was in the 80s and rainy. Ugh; the humidity was killer. I had to run it just so that I could breathe! Let's not even talk about my damn hair. . .
I'm the same with cold weather I grew up in Seattle which definitely isn't warm either but I was SUCH a wuss this past winter up here...I stayed inside a lot, so now that it is summer I'm dying to be out even though 65-70 isn't exactly "warm" to me...haha
Oh there's no way I could handle humidity! I've actually tried to get DH to move to Seattle. If he didn't make it past the budget cuts this year we were actually going to move to Oregon or Washington. *sigh* not to sound ungrateful but now he's tenured here and I'm stuck in hell!
I know I should just be happy he has a job, but I truly hate it here.
Re: It feels like it's still 90 degrees!
This is why I don't miss living in Roseville! First it was Rohnert Park and the sonoma aroma, then to the heat of Roseville.
Here people are whining about the heat when it hits 75! (Average summer temp here is like 60-65!)

Not a fan of hot weather, eh?
