I was thinking the other day of how some people tend to "match" their kids' names. (Cassidy and Kennedy; Jennifer and Jessica; Ryan, Tyler, and Myles; Pax, Knox, and Maddox, etc)
No judgements, just opening the floor. Post here some "matchy matchy" names you know, heard, or can think of.
Re: matchy matchy names
I know twins that are Jacob and Joshua..
I had twins my my pre-k class, Matthew and Mackenzie
I have a friend that is Joshua and his brother is Justin.
Another friend Kathleen, sister is Kristin
My brother's kids are Kathryn (Katie) and Karlee.
Desperate Housewives, Parker, Porter, Preston and Penny.
I'm not opposed to having names match, but mine probably won't. They will sound good together though.
My brothers are Kevin and Keith ?(and I was almost Kimberly, but my parents changed their mind ).
Keith's kids are named Sydney (his oldest, his stepdaughter) and his twins are Lacey and Bradley. I guess SIL just really likes y's.?The twins were almost more matchy-Lacey's name was going to be Bailey. I like that it is a different letter than her brother, though.
I knew twins named Hope and Trulee
sisters that were named Hope and Faith
sisters that were Asia and India
siblings that were Zoey, Zion, and Zsaria?
?
I feel like I am forgetting some, I'll come back if I remember.?

My good friend's mom and her sibs are Kay, Fay and Ray and Fay has a son named Clay.
Childhood friends Sara, Sandra, and Sabrina (all had exact same initials, too)
I knew a family with sons Jared and Jordan, and twin girls Meredith and Madison.
My uncle and his sister are Larry and Mary.
I can't come down on matchy matchy names too much though. My fiance and I have already agreed that we like the names Aiden, Allison and Ainsley. We just happen to like 'A' names.

I'm one of five girls and we're Kristen, Carrie, Katie (Kathleen), Kasey and Colleen. It gets confusing. My father in particular is famous for going "Kris-I mean-Kate-I mean K....YOU! Come over here!"
It's okay, but after awhile it gets a little old. I won't be doing the matchy matchy if I can help it.
I have a friend who did MacCauley, MacKensie, MacKayla, and MacSomething. (I can't remember the 4th - haha) They take off the "Mac" and call them all by Kensie, Kayla, etc.
I'm Tara. My sisters are Tessa and Tori and my brother is Trace. We all have the same initals, as well - TJM.
Cousins: Alex, Abby, Aydan, Ava. Parker and Paxton. Tristen, Trent, Troy. Shannon, Shane, Shawn. We had some friends growing up who were: Shannon, Sherrie, Suzie, Shelly, and Stacie. Twins from school: Shayla and Kayla, Jaclyn and Jennifer.
my mom is a twin.. and they are Sandy Sue and Cindy Lou...
talk about matchy-matchy...sheesh!
These are kids I have worked with or known:
Tristan and Trinity
Hope and Faith (they're twins from Russia and their Russian names meant hope and faith)
Kayli and Kyli
Kevin and Kevon
Amy, Abby and Angie (triplets)
This plays into my children-as-accessories pet peeve.
It's also crazy confusing living in a house of matchy-matchy names.?
I know sisters named MaKaya, Mailee, & Maislyn.
Twins named Rhett & Rilee
One of my friends wanted to name her kids Macy Rainin and Ryan Mason (which I just loved the way those sound together!)
David & Donald (my husband and his brother, they go by Dave & Don)
Diana & Denise (myself & my sister)
Karen & Kenneth (my mom and her brother)
I know a family with all J names:
Joan- the mom
Jeff- the dad
Jordan- the son
Jesse-anne, Juliet, and Jenna- the triplet girls
My aunt and uncle have 4 kids named Hannah, Hayden, Hope and Holly?
