last kid to STTN?

Do I have the last kid to STTN? I am feeling very much alone in this lately. He is still up 2-3x's per night (with an awful 7-8 last night!) He will fall asleep on his own most nights but will not fall back asleep without nursing. Please normalize this for me and let me know I'm not alone! He'll sleep before kindergarten right?

You aren't alone. DS doesn't consistently STTN yet. He will sometimes but it's very sporadic. I go to bed never knowing what kind of sleep I'll get. He did well over the weekend, but was up 6 times last night. I just figure I can sleep when I'm dead.

Nope, we're up almost every night at least once and up for the day between 5am and 6am everyday.

Ditto!!  Except I am the type to get up around 5, so that's who he gets it from!

My DD didn't STTN until I weened at almost 14 mo.

DD hasn't STTN once.  She's up 2-3 times a night every night.  Ugh!

 I think it's pretty common for babies to still wake up if they're nursing. DS is (thankfully) waking to nurse 2-3 times a night. This is an improvement over what it was. I wish I was kidding.

Thanks folks... just looking for others who understand. I so relate to the "maybe this will be the night". Oh, my DH and I say that every night. I remember 2 full nights of sleep in the past year, and oh they were wonderful! When he has only gotten up once, we mark it as one of the best nights!

Benjamin has NEVER sttn.  He wakes 3-4 sometimes 7 times a night.  I am beginning to think he is starting to practice for the good old college all-nighters way early

You're not alone.  My daughter still gets up usually 1 time per night.  I'm hoping she starts STTN again soon.
