DH wanted to talk baby names today... (longish)

We decided that we want to use Robert as a mn for a future DS. DH suggested the name William today, nn Will. I said I liked it and that William Robert sounded good together. DH says no way. I was confused until he said, "Really? Billy Bob?".

Oh.

Now that I think about it I would prefer William as a mn anyway.

Then I suggested Evan again. He starts cracking up! Backstory: If we have son he will be named Jack after DH. He finally calm down and says only if we have three sons: Jack, Evan, and Jim. I was confused until he clarified: Jack (Daniels), Evan (Williams), Jim (Beam)... all whiskeys.

The billy bob thing would never even occur to me?! Men are so weird with that.

MH nixed Evan b/c he said the kids would all say "evan and odd". I was like, um, if that is the worst teasing & nickname you can come up with, that is really not that bad, give me a break. But he was adamant. Oh well.?

I like Evan William but Robert is a family name. So is William but Robert is special for both of us. Also, Evan Williams is a whiskey, DH would love that...
