Won't see the girls until next Monday :(
I'm leaving for vacation bright and early tomorrow morning so James picked up the girls this afternoon (my dad already picked up the older kids last night). I won't see them again until next Monday morning!!
I've left them overnight quite often since James takes them a few nights per week, and I've left them for a weekend twice, but that's it. Never anywhere near as long as this. A whole WEEK almost. Holy cow.
I really need the break, it'll be good for James to have real parent time with them rather than an evening here or there, and it'll be good for my relationship with my BF to actually spend kidless/uninterrupted time together... but I'm going to miss them SO much.
If you've taken babyless trips, tell me it will be okay!

It will be okay! Call me insensitive but I love em. It makes me a better mom b/c I can rejuvenate myself.
Yes you will miss them! I always miss my Harmon... BUT IT WILL BE GREAT IN THE LONG RUN!!!

I had finals and then moved into a new place, so I haven't been Nesting/Bumping as much lately... plus Charlotte is clingy so it's tougher to get online when they are awake. And now I'll be gone for a week!
I actually have been working with my BF for just over a year and never really thought anything of it until things with James finally fully ended and he asked me out... we've been together for 2.5 months now. So funny to say that after having been with James for 8+ YEARS! But, he's a great guy, and I'm excited to go to Hawaii with him

ah, i haven't seen your posts in forever. (i was staying on 6-12 in denial about dd's birthday) you're girls are SO cute, and they've gotten so big!!!
