Anyone's DC burst eardrum?

I was just wondering because DSs ear had a slight amount of blood come out (he's getting over an ear infection).  I know it is either a burst eardrum (which I can't do anything about) or a middle ear infection.  If it's the latter then I need to take him back in to the doc.  We were just in last week because his skin got red spots all over from the antibiotics.  So, before I call in, any experiences with this?  Sorry so long.

    when it comes to blood coming out of the ear, I don't think I'd wait to call the doc.

    My eardrum has ruptured several times and never have i had blood, only thick pus. I'd go back in.?

    Mine has burst three times and I have had it lanced three times...never any blood. ?Not to mention...it has always been excruciating pain. ?I am sure it would be just as painful for a LO. ?Go back in for evaluation
