Should i try him on mum-mum"s?

When did you start these rice things? He's eating puffed rice right now and loves it, but I'm out and have original mum-mums and it says they are ok when babies start solids.... He has the chewing thing down so should I break them into little pieces or let him knaw on them ? TIA

I never thought food was confusing until now, lol. Even diabetes diet isn't this confusing :)

  • Go for it.  I wish I had started them earlier than I did.  I think they're easier than Puffs as a first food.  They dissolve fast and DS has never had a choking issue with them.  I wouldn't worry about breaking it up.  It's easier to hold when it's bigger.

  • I've never seen mum-mum's before, where do you find those?

  • You can find mum mums at wal-mart (when they are in stock-here lately they have always been out) some BRU's have them, some whole foods have them and I recently ordered some from cvs.com, amazon sells them too. DD likes mums a WHOLE lot better than puffs.

We actually stopped giving puffs and started giving Mum-Mums, DD was getting frustrated with getting the puffs in her mouth.
