I am in love with it too, but I don't know if I can justify the price. I also haven't been able to find anything cheaper that looks as nice, so I'm considering making it myself.
I just got the Serena and Lily Posey set for this baby, and was so happy with the quality and I bit the bullet and bought a duvet and sheet set for my older child.
You can sometimes find their sets on ebay for much less money, and if you set up a registry on the serena and lily website, you get 50 bucks off, I set up a registrt and used the code on the duvetm even though I have no use for a registry this time around.
We got our S&L bedding on sale, and I'm still not sure I love it. I love the pattern and our nursery theme, and the quality is good, but the sheets aren't the softest in the world, and I am very much into texture.
I bought my S & L bedding on sale, as well (still not "cheap" though). I agree with PP that the sheet is not really soft. I will probably by a non-S & L substitute sheet to use as the alternate. I will say, though, I love the bedding. It has given us inspiration for the rest of the room - I still look around at other sets but always come back to the set we got.
If you buy on laylagrayce.com - you can get 10% and if you spend over $500 you get a $75.00 credit to use at their website. So, I guess it's kind of like getting another $75.00 off if there is something you want/need and would have bought anyways. They have some cute diaper bags etc...
We have the Charlotte set that I bought for my now 2 year old. The crib sheet ripped after a couple months and by 15 months the bumpers were coming apart.
They sent me a replacement sheet but said that the sets were only supposed to last a year so they did not do anything for the bumper.
I wouldn't buy it again.
