I am so sick of all the incredible shrinking packages

With food. I understand that the food companies are trying to keep their prices down so instead are shrinking their packaging but come on. I have a family of 5. I'm going to be buying certain things anyway, but it just annoys the cr@p out of me that I have to buy more to get the same amount. In the end I end up spending more anyway, so it would just be so much easier if they just kept the packages the same size and raised the price.?

For example: ice cream is now 1.5Q and it used to be .5 gallon. Cans of tuna used to be 6oz and now are 5oz.

It's just damn annoying.?

Yeah, I'm boycotting Dryers ice cream for this reason. So annoying. Don't get me started on the new '8-packs' of soda. Do they really think the consumers are that dumb?

It is annoying and I agree. I go to this one supermarket that takes competitor coupons. Well -- I TORTURE them. They really don't know how to properly deduct everything so I end holding up the entire line while they stand there with a calculator. I used to calculate it for them but they always redid my calculations so now I let them do it and it takes FOREVER.

And you know what? I don't give a toodles. B/c I saved $30 in coupons today.

Yeah, I boycott bottles of Coke for that reason, I refuse to not get 2 liters...especially when the 1.5 cost the same as the 2 of Pepsi.
